Many efforts make an Eagle.

Congratulations to Nathan for continuing to progress through his Eagle Scout requirements, the summit is now in sight!  Let's all do our best to lend a hand as he moves closer daily to becoming Troop 1's next Eagle Scout.  Take time to find out how you can demonstrate that, "A Scout is: ...Helpful" the next time you see him.  Everyone gets to contribute but only one of us wears the badge!

We now have a "Joining" tab which details the process of getting involved in Scouting with our Troop.  If you are a Webelos' leader and would like Troop 1 to participate in an Arrow of Light ceremony; assist with the completion Arrow of Light requirements; or just visit to introduce Boy Scouting to your Pack please contact us through the links on our Contact page.  Please also contact us if you are already a Boy Scout and wish to transfer to Troop 1 or if you are entirely new to Scouting and would like to join.

Getting with the program - the video program.

The videos in the right sidebar are loaded in roughly the following order: Fire, water, shelter, navigation, rope work, packing, food, tips and do-it-yourself (DIY).  All videos are the property of the owners but their use is the responsibility of the viewer (you); so be careful, have fun and learn something new!  If you have questions ask the Scoutmaster or any adult.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a moving picture worth?

We now have videos!  All videos are YouTube feeds from existing content.  Most are meant to be instructional but none are meant to replace common sense, practical application or specific training.  The product review videos are intended to introduce some newer equipment concepts as well as user-based reviews.  "We'll see you at the movies!"
